A couple of years ago, I used to see his credentials as M.A.B.L. Now I see he has acquired a Ph.D. !! Was this an honorary degree — similar to ones awarded to Mr. Karunanidhi, Jayalalitha, and all the politicians?
Real Ph.D.s who worked so hard to get this degree are ashamed to mention this!!!!

Looks like he is trying a little bit of proselytizing!! If this guy is a christian, how come he has colleges named after Hindu names – Satyabama, Panimalar, etc.??

Since he is very close to MGR, he kept satyabama(MGR Mothers name) Name for his first college, Panimalar is a christian name. Only Mamallan i am not aware its a christian name or not?

Mamallan is not a christian name, Mamallan and SRR were handed over from some other management to Jeppiar. That’s why they are not christian names……..

I don’t think all these would be real. How come one can take notes of all his speech so particularly and scripting it out here?
May his language not be good but I feel this has been exaggerated…

not really exaggerated, this is true.. coming from one of his institutions i have heard him speak too.. such thing i cant forget is in our inauguration he was telling “‘my college boys, good.. shirt inside pant, clean shave(put his hand on his head by mistake), and good cutting hair( and put his hand on the face).!
and the next thing was- Parents of girls are standing in que to marry my college boys!

Yes, it is true. He speaks in broken English…no grammer…et al. Why don’t we see and appreciate his admin skills, how he is maintaining discipline….most other colleges following his example….Otherwise Boy Girl talk (the starting point) the future is over for them and their parents are doomed..This is real life situation. Unless one gets good grades, you are neither employable nor can you aspire for higher study…After all can’t all the students do what they must do for 4 years of study and come off with flying colors! I am no supporter of Mr. Jeppiar… Study properly…Be proud that you can be an engineer, you are valuable to the society as you are constantly contributing with your creative thinking! God bless!

Wake up folks.No matter how good his broken english is,he’s making his speech humorous.The policies he has introduced like mess,bus travel,prescribed books,notebooks,internal tests,etc is priceless and above all relieves the parental pressure as well.His institution remains as a role model for the others in the industry to line up to strive for better results.
Look at the positive side by comparing the academic results of the Jeppiaar group and other colleges where there is no specific guidelines and the constant increase in the count of students who still have to wait for years to get their degree certificate due to lack of competent staff and academic aid.
I’m proud to say I’m a student of his esteemed institution.I really look forward to visit the college on my next visit to India.
